The Organisers roll up their sleeves to create a serene and elegant home…
The Organisers received a call last week from a busy working mother who could no longer bear her cluttered home. Although the family have a housekeeper in employ, ten years of family life in their sizeable Central London residence has meant that many of the guest rooms, attic and bedrooms have become cluttered, were not well presented and did not do justice to the beautiful décor.
The Organisers visited the property and listened to the client’s hopes and expectations for her home. There was much work to do and The Organisers set about creating a plan of action to create complete order again.
Bright one morning, The Organisers descended upon the property with our de-clutter kit. Without fuss our team quickly alphabetised media, sorted shelves, drawers and cupboards, wrapped mismatched ornaments for storage, ordered messy children’s rooms, discovered the carpet in teenage bedrooms, re-organised cabling and created filing systems in the office, and transformed the dining room into a serene place to entertain.
Working alongside our clients, we are able to give an objective opinion as to whether items should be stored, donated to charity or recycled.
Our wardrobe specialist managed the principals’ dressing room by dividing the clothes into seasons and storing winter clothing elsewhere until required. Clothing was organised into our client’s preferred system which in this instance was to create outfits and store as one for simple dressing for any occasion. Shoes and accessories were photographed, boxed and labelled; ties were sent for cleaning or colour coded. All items that no longer fitted, were dated or did not ‘work’ were donated to a good cause and unused furs, a stunning wedding dress and gowns were carefully placed in tissue lined boxes and archived.
The Organisers arranged for charities to collect items suitable for resell, a storage facility for furniture and larger items and a collection for recycling immediately, in order that the client could be rid of all unwanted and superfluous items on the day. The Organisers took with them a large amount of items for repair, refurbishment or cleaning. A thorough sparkle clean followed from one of our trusted cleaning partners and the rejuvenated home was presented to our beaming client.
So delighted with the extent of the transformation, our client immediately instructed us to arrange a large dinner party for her friends and family the following weekend in order to show off her revitalised property!
